The Oxford Voice Lab is a fresh, self-contained studio based near Abingdon, Oxfordshire and run by two professional West End singer/actors.

We provide singing lessons, masterclasses and workshops for all ages and abilities.

Our teaching method is all about creating healthy, strong voices in a fun and supportive space. 

We work with all voices and abilities. In addition to singing lessons we provide 1+1 voice/speech sessions for those wanting to improve their speaking voice for work presentations, teaching or public speaking.

Whether you are a young, enthusiastic singer wanting to learn the basics of singing, a keen choir member wanting to focus more on technique and breathwork, a teacher working on their speaking voice, or a professional wanting to brush up on their skills we would love to hear from you.

Meet the vocal coaches

Nadia Eide

Vocal Coach and classically trained chart topping soprano Nadia Eide graduated from the prestigious Guildford School of Acting with a BA (HONS) in Musical Theatre. She is currently working and training with the master teachers of the Vocal Balance Technique used by the UK's leading industry professionals. This technique produces voices that are strong, flexible, free and healthy allowing you to sing for long periods of time without strain or fatigue. 

Nadia came to the nation’s attention on the ITV's The Voice UK when she blew Tom Jones, Olly Murs, Anne-Marie and most notably will.i.am away with her powerful voice. By combining emotion, vocal dexterity and stratospheric notes she, not only became a finalist on the hit show,  but won the hearts of the UK pushing the genre of classical crossover into the world of mainstream music.

This Scandinavian-born, coloratura soprano has already achieved critical acclaim on stage as a versatile opera and musical theatre star, playing leading soprano roles worldwide and is now breaking the mould of the classical crossover genre, receiving standing ovations worldwide for her concert shows. In addition to being invited to sing for Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Edinburgh at Windsor Castle, she has also sung in some of the world's biggest arenas including London's O2 and Wembley. 

Nadia teaches professionals, enthusiastic amateurs, teens and children aged 7+. Her teaching covers all genres of music including Classical, Pop, Musical Theatre and Rock.

 

Meet the vocal coaches

Michael Storrs

Vocal Coach and Actor Michael Storrs trained at the Royal Academy of Music and has performed in hit shows including Mamma Mia!, Les Misérables, 39 Steps. He continually tours worldwide with his vocal powerhouse group The West End Tenors.

Michael teaches professionals and keen amateurs from young adults to adults.

His teaching covers Classical, Musical Theatre, Pop music in addition to script work for actors.
